Right back at ya, lady

Me: Hi, I would like to open an account.

Bank employee: Blah blah blah.

Me: Blah blah blah?

BE: Blah. Blah blah.

M: Blah.

BE: Are you Argentine?

M: No.

BE: Mmm. . . where are you from?

M: I'm from the United States.

BE: Yeah. I thought there was something just a little wrong about the way you spoke.

por NO hablar como un porteño te dijo eso....si hablaras como eshos, no habría ningún problema...lo tenés que superar de una buena vez y hablar con ese accento...boludo!

It's worse than you might think. I'm starting to sound like the linguistic love child of a gallego fresh off the boat and his tango-dancer mistress from La Boca.
